At Genuine Collectables, we want every order to arrive safely and as described. Please read our returns and refunds information below before contacting us about an order issue.

Our Returns Policy

Due to the collectible nature of trading cards, sealed products and limited-release items, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, duplicate purchases, buyer’s remorse or incorrect product selection.

This includes sealed trading card products, booster boxes, booster packs, elite trainer boxes, decks, singles, accessories and other collectable items unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

Change of Mind

We do not generally offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind, ordered the wrong item or no longer want the product.

Sealed Products

Sealed trading card products must remain sealed. Opened, tampered-with or damaged packaging may not be eligible for return unless required by law.

Order Issues

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or incomplete, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos.

Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Items

If you receive a damaged item, incorrect product or your order is missing an item, please contact us at within a reasonable timeframe after delivery.

To help us assess your claim quickly, please include:

  • Your full name
  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos of the product, parcel and packaging
  • Photos of any visible damage or incorrect items received

Please keep all original packaging until your enquiry has been reviewed.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

If a product has a major problem, is not as described, is unsafe, or does not meet applicable consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.

Depending on the situation, remedies may include a repair, replacement, refund or another suitable solution as required by law.

Items Not Eligible for Return

Unless required under Australian Consumer Law, the following items are generally not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Opened booster boxes, booster packs, elite trainer boxes or sealed products
  • Products with damaged or tampered packaging after delivery
  • Products purchased by mistake
  • Products no longer wanted due to change of mind
  • Preorder items cancelled after allocation or processing
  • Items damaged due to misuse, mishandling or storage after delivery

Preorders and Cancellations

Preorder products are ordered or allocated based on customer demand and supplier availability. Once a preorder has been placed, cancellation may not always be available, especially after the order has been allocated, processed or prepared for dispatch.

If you need help with a preorder, please contact us as soon as possible and we will review your request where possible.

Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will usually be processed back to the original payment method used at checkout.

Please allow time for your bank, card provider or payment provider to process the refund after it has been issued. Processing times may vary depending on your payment method.
