Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains how Genuine Collectables handles refund requests, damaged items, incorrect orders, sealed products and preorder cancellations.
Change of Mind
Due to the collectible nature of trading cards, sealed products and limited-release items, we generally do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, duplicate purchases, buyer’s remorse or incorrect product selection.
Sealed Products
Sealed trading card products, including booster boxes, booster packs, elite trainer boxes, starter decks and similar products, must remain unopened and untampered with.
Opened, damaged or tampered-with sealed products are generally not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or missing an item, please contact us as soon as possible
Please include:
- Your full name
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos of the product, parcel and packaging
- Photos showing any visible damage or incorrect item received
Please keep all original packaging until your enquiry has been reviewed.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
If a product has a major problem, is not as described, is unsafe or does not meet applicable consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
Depending on the issue, a remedy may include a repair, replacement, refund or another solution required by law.
Preorders
Preorder products are ordered or allocated based on customer demand, supplier availability and release schedules. Cancellation may not always be available once a preorder has been allocated, processed or prepared for dispatch.
If you need help with a preorder, contact us as early as possible and we will review your request.
Approved Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will usually be processed back to the original payment method used at checkout.
Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank, card provider or payment provider.
Return Shipping
If a return is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item. Do not send items back without contacting us first.
Return shipping responsibility will depend on the reason for the return and any rights that apply under Australian Consumer Law.
